Raised from the influence of Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac and Sheryl Crow, Georgia's songwriting carries her Jersey influence, creating real, straightforward, and sometimes brutally honest lyrics. The stories behind her songs offer unique and surprising topics that range from upbeat songs that make you dance in the living room to songs for a long drive. Owen is a singer-songwriter and emerging artist from Allentown, New Jersey. She spent most of her life performing in Asbury Park as well as various places around Central Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York at iconic venues including the Stone Pony, the Cutting Room, and the Wonder Bar.
Georgias recorded songs have appeared in the "Wu-Tang: An American Saga" on Hulu and "Just Before the Dawn" documentary and her original song "Red No More" appeared on a compilation by Shore Point records in January of 2021. Since moving to Nashville her next single "Fur Coat" won the 2023 Nashville Briefing songwriting contest.
